The former Castle Mona Hotel on Castle Drive/Douglas Promenade. Built for the Duke of Athol in 1804 – The Duke resided here until 1831 when this grande now once loved building then became a Hotel. What a real shame that this beautiful building is now lying totally derelict. A Derelict Tholtan above Tholt y Will in Sulby

High above Douglas the silhouette of these derelict cottages on Carnane Hill can be seen from far and wide around the surrounding areas of Douglas. A Walk Along the Raad Ny Foillan to Port Soderick
Went for a walk on the Raad Ny Foillan (Coastal Footpath) today to Port Soderick and then down to the former Port Soderick Hotel which was also latterly known as the Anchor Hotel, as you can see the building is now sadly derelict.
