2 Former Vietnam Helicopters

Two former Vietnam Helicopters seen here adjacent to the Aviation Museum at Ronaldsway and then their departure from Ronaldsway heading for Jurby Airfield for an aerial display for the Vintage Motorcycle Club today. Illiam Dhone also known as William Christian the Manx Martyr

This sculpture of Manx Martyr Illiam Dhone (also known as William Christian) is displayed in Malew Parish Church and the plaque underneath the sculpture simply states “Here lies Illiam Dhone, William Christian of Ronaldsway, shot to death at Hango Hill on 2nd January 1663” – January 2nd 2013 marks the 350th anniversary of his execution. The image was captured on my Nikon S8200 Camera resized and cropped in Adobe Photoshop CS6. Firefly – Touching Down at Ronaldsway Airport

This morning at 09.30hrs this British Airways Airbus A319 Aircraft landed at Ronaldsway Airport with a cargo of the Olympic Flame and its back up crew. The images were captured on my Nikon D80 DSLR with a Nikon 18-135 F3.5/5.6 G AFS DX lens and cropped and resized in Adobe Photoshop CS5. EasyJet Airbus A319 – Departing Ronaldsway

I captured this EasyJet Airbus A319 Reg No G-EZFZ departing Ronaldsway Airport on Sunday 5th June 2011, the undercarriage is just about housed and the flights destination is Liverpool John Lennon Airport. The image was taken on my Nikon D80 SLR with a Nikon 18-135 F3.5/5.6 G AFS DX lens at 135mm and cropped in Adobe Photoshop CS5.
