Laxey Woolen Mills on Glen Road
Founded in 1881 and originally a water powered mill which is now the last working woolen mill on the Isle of Man, the mill is famous for it’s Manx tartan which is made from the wool of the indigenous Manx Loaghtan Sheep, the river in the image is best known as Salmon River.
