(7 images in this post) A walk on the Public Footpath through Ballakilmartin Farm (St. Martin’s Church Farm). So sad to see a once loved home/farm like this. Master Frank in Ramsey Harbour

Posted on May 17, 2014May 18, 2014 by Peter Killey

Master Frank – RY95 is a Manx built, half-decker fishing boat seen here berthed in Ramsey Harbour. Master Frank is the Island’s longest surviving half-decker. Records differ as to whether she was built in 1893 or 1895. Measuring 40ft overall, Master Frank was built by Messrs. Clucas and Duggan, shipwrights, boat and canoe builders and block and spar makers, whose yard was at the rear of Marsden Terrace in Ramsey. North Quay in Douglas

Another one of my Street Photography efforts, this time on North Quay in Douglas. The Newson Trading Co Ltd property on the right is probably one of the few surviving oldest buildings in Douglas that are still standing.
