Master Frank – RY95 is a Manx built, half-decker fishing boat seen here berthed in Ramsey Harbour. Master Frank is the Island’s longest surviving half-decker. Records differ as to whether she was built in 1893 or 1895. Measuring 40ft overall, Master Frank was built by Messrs. Clucas and Duggan, shipwrights, boat and canoe builders and block and spar makers, whose yard was at the rear of Marsden Terrace in Ramsey. Fastcraft Manannan Leaving Douglas Harbour (HDR)
I took this image of the Steam Packet’s Fastcraft Manannan leaving Douglas Harbour on one of our rare sunny days 🙂 The image was captured on my Nikon D80 DSLR with a Nikon 18-105 F3.5/5.6 G AFS DX lens, dipped in Dynamic Photo HDR 5, cropped and resized in Adobe Photoshop CS5.
