A Cold Day Overlooking Laxey Breakwaters
Standing on Old Laxey Hill and looking towards the 2 Laxey Breakwaters on a very cold, stormy but sunny afternoon. Laxey Harbour
Went for a walk around Laxey yesterday (Saturday 7/7/12) and the sun was shining and there was no rain!! Image 1 This Anchor is believed to be from the ship “THORN” a 980 ton BARQUE which after taking shelter in Douglas bay dragged her anchor & was wrecked on rocks near Derby Castle on 24th January 1890.
