My late father used to visit this magical place when he was a kid and told me many times about it and how he loved to walk out there.

I am 89 now. I was 3 years of age and remember my dad who was in the Royal Navy taking me to the edge of the stream at the Fairy Bridge. 1940 a refuge in wartime Britain. We lived in a cottage up the road but I cannot find it online. Our address was St Margaret’s Spring Valley, Douglas, Isle of Mann.
