Lady Isabella – Laxey Wheel.

A slightly different perspective from high above the Laxey Wheel in the hills at Agneash.

The wheel was built in 1854 in order to drain the mines of water and was officially started by Lieutenant Governor Hope and it was named in honour of his wife “Lady Isabella”.
