Founded in 1881 and originally a water powered mill which is now the last working woolen mill on the Isle of Man, the mill is famous for it’s Manx tartan which is made from the wool of the indigenous Manx Loaghtan Sheep, the river in the image is best known as Salmon River.

Beautiful sky, river, green trees… Do they still make manx tartan in that mill?? Last time I was in charge to get a scotish tartan. Next time, I´ll get an authentic manx one for myself!!! Love its colours!
