Maughold Head and Church Aerial Images
(3 images in this post) A beautiful day for flying the Drone, so popped up to Maughold Head and put the Drone up and took lots of pictures but I do like these 3 images, which not only shows Maughold Head and Maughold Church but also Ramsey Bay right up to the Point of Ayre, also you can make out North Barrule and onward to Snaefell Mountain on one of the images. Maughold Head Lighthouse
Just look how cold that sea looks and believe me it was freezing up there this afternoon. Maughold Lighthouse was built in 1914 on the Southern side of Maughold Head, the fully automated light is 65m above sea level and access to the Lighthouse is via 129 steps (non Public access).
