A Manx Poppy wreath at Jurby Church War Memorial this morning.
Approximately 1,000 Manxmen were at the Battle of the Somme. Sadly at least 120 were killed and 100’s more were wounded or captured.
Lest we forget.

Despite all the problems, UK alwayas look back to remember where you come from, who did their best to make you who you are: brave, kind, lloyal people. Teach your values to all foreigns citizens that move to live in your land. Land of freedom, land of prosperity, land of respect, land of justice – as much as possible in an unperfect world. (I hope I could put it correctly in this english language!! 🙂 )
