The Plains of Heaven

Standing just above the Braaid and overlooking The Plains of Heaven.

Mountains from left to right: Greeba Mountain, Slieau Ruy,  Colden Mountain, then across the Baldwin Valley to Carraghan Mountain, Beinn-Y-Phott and then Snaefell Mountain centre right with Slieau Lhean thereafter.

The houses in the middle left of the image is the ever growing Glen Vine.

The image was captured on my Nikon D80 DSLR with a Nikon 18-105 F3.5/5.6 G AFS DX lens, cropped and resized in Adobe Photoshop CS5.

  1. We rented a cottage in Braaid. This truly is a Heavenly view, although Glen Vine has grown a lot since we were there.
