Spotted this beautiful Cruise Ship ‘Marina’ berthed just off the Tower of Refuge in Douglas Bay this afternoon (12/7/11) – (click image for larger view).
The ship, according to its website was put into service in January 2011, Gross Tonnage = 65,000 tonnes, Passengers = 1,258, Passenger Decks = 11, Length = 774ft (236m), Max Beam (width) = 105ft (32m), Draft = 24ft (7.3m), Cruising Speed = 20 knots (37km/h).
The image was taken on my Nikon D80 SLR with a Nikon 18-135 F3.5/5.6 G AFS DX lens at 120mm and cropped in Adobe Photoshop CS5.
