Went for a walk on the Raad Ny Foillan (Coastal Footpath) today to Port Soderick and then down to the former Port Soderick Hotel which was also latterly known as the Anchor Hotel, as you can see the building is now sadly derelict.
The images were captured on my Nikon D80 DSLR with a Nikon 18-105 F3.5/5.6 G AFS DX lens, cropped and resized in Adobe Photoshop CS5.

I like the signpost shot – I always find it difficult to make anything of them.
I reckon the Anchor had the best juke box on the Island a good number of years ago!! Closely followed by the Waggon and Horses.
Nice pics Peter, thanks.
What a shame no one is prepared to do something with the building and generally detattify the area returning it to its former glory. I was intrigued by the walkways across the rocks which were getting in a very poor state 10 years ago. I assume nothing has been done to them since?
