The Chasms and Sugarloaf Rock

A lovely walk down to the Chasms today and then onto see Sugar Loaf Rock which was overcrowded and very noisy with Guillemots, I even managed a spot of litter picking too 😎 🇮🇲

    Dear Sir,
Interesting photographs with many details. But what about Geology? There is a remarkable succession of sedimentary strata, ?sandstones, siltstones and perhaps carbonates? And what is the age of this stuff?
There is a beautiful stamp of the Isle of Man Suger-Leaf Rock, issued 1980, stamp catalogue number Michel 162, YvertTellier 156.

    With all best wishes,
