I love this little semi-derelict cottage that is sat all alone in the North of the Island.

This National War Memorial is sited adjacent to Tynwald Hill in St John’s

The Celtic cross memorial was unveiled on 8th November 1923 by the Lieutenant Governor Sir William Fry. It was dedicated by the Lord Bishop of Sodor and Man and it was designed by P.M.C. Kermode and carved by T.H. Royston.

Set in a beautiful wooded valley by the River Dhoo. The churchyard is full of Georgian headstones and is a wonderful place for photographers and anyone with an interest in Manx history and architecture to visit.

This time I somehow managed to avoid the four sheep and one ram in the graveyard 🙂
