This Manx slate Celtic Cross caught my eye today, when you look at the intricate, delicate hand carving that must have taken place to display this beautiful piece of artwork, this particular cross is more than 50 years old.

The image was taken on my Nikon D80 SLR with a Nikon 18-135 F3.5/5.6 G AFS DX lens at 62mm and cropped in Adobe Photoshop CS5.

Spotted this Helicopter today which arrives on the Isle of Man prior to TT Week and is used for medical emergencies for the TT.

The helicopter is sat on the Vagabonds Rugby pitch adjacent to the TT Grandstand in Douglas.

Lets hope its not used for TT 2011.

This tiny but beautifully kept Church is one of the best kept secrets of Old Lonan, as you can see in the image there is enough room to get about twenty to thirty people in and the Chapel would be full!!

The image was taken on my Nikon D80 SLR with a Nikon 18-135 F3.5/5.6 G AFS DX lens at 18mm and using a Nikon SB-800 Speedlight.
A beautiful, tranquil and peaceful place.

I captured this vessel moored about a mile north off Ramsey Bay today (just off the Dog Mills in Bride) I am pretty sure she was sheltering from the severe gales that the Island is experiencing right now.

The image was taken on my Nikon D80 SLR with a Nikon 18-135 F3.5/5.6 G AFS DX lens at 135mm.

Caught these images this morning of Douglas Lifeboat Sir William Hillary taking part in an exercise with a Sea King Helicopter from RAF Valley, I wonder whether Prince Andrew was on board??

The images were taken on my Nikon D80 with a Nikon 18-135 F3.5/5.6 G AFS DX lens, these subjects were approximately 1 mile out to sea off Onchan Head.
