Ballabeg seems to recur on the Island. My gg grandfather William was a tailor in St Johns but used to walk to his brother, Phillip’s farm of Ballabeg, sometimes shortened to Ballig in letters. They both died about 1860. Years ago we explored the place I think was Ballabeg and found a large house named Ballakilley and a bridge over the sream inscribed “Matthew Killey”
