I have to admit being old enough to remember watching sticks of rock being hand made in Kelly’s Rock Shop in Castle Street in Douglas!

i can remember there being two shops in strand street where you could watch them make rock and manx hob knobs. if only we could have those times back,they were so simple.wishing you and all the isle of man a merry xmas and all the very best for the new year. your photos of the isle of man are something i look forward to seeing,they take me back to my youth. i’m not manx but my father was.and we allways whent to the isle of man for our holidays,to see my family
