Architecture of Queens Avenue – Douglas

In between the heavy wintry showers today I could not help take this image of the winter sun lighting up and highlighting this fine row of houses on Queens Avenue in Douglas.

The image was captured on my Nikon S8200 Camera resized and cropped in Adobe Photoshop CS6.

  1. I like very much this kind of buildings, specially the tall window bays (If I can call it this way!). I remember walking up and down Queens Ave, to and from Grand Stand in 2011!!! 🙂 Good memories!

  2. I do so enjoy seeing such lovely examples of architecture when they have been preserved to such a high standard as this row of houses. I really hope there is a preservation order on them to stop anyone “improving” their appearance. Great photo.
